WWL Radio's Scoot robbed on way to work, police search for suspects

NEW ORLEANS – WWL Radio’s Scoot Paisant was robbed as he walked into work early Wednesday morning, according to reports from the radio station and the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 3:50 a.m., Paisant was walking in the 600 block of Gravier Street when he was approached by four unknown black men, police said.
One of the subjects blocked his path, began feeling his pockets, pushed him to the ground and took his brief case, according to the police report.
The four men then ran south towards Camp Street and entered a red four door vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet, police said. The car drove on Camp Street towards Canal Street and fled to an unknown location.
Paisant described the perpetrator as black, approximately 25-30 years in age, 5’11” to 6’ tall with an average build and possibly 180-190 pounds. The suspect was wearing a yellow construction vest, red t-shirt and dark pants.
