Anyway... the point of the thread is Fort Worth.

I never thought much of the town until I was in a wedding there in 2008... the downtown area is fucking great. A good strip of bars all within walking distance of each other... you have the TCU crowd.

The Stockyards are a bit out of town, but the thing is you can plan your weekend around either downtown FW or the Stockyards. Either part of town can easily entertain for a weekend. And you can always spend a night at Billy Bobs.

Plus you have Joe T Garcias for dinner, or brunch. That place is legend Tex Mex.

I'm a little buzzed right now, but my point is this... the last time we went, we were there for Sandy Kershaw at Billy Bobs... spent the day there at Riscky's and the museums, eating, whatever... but the point was the show at Billy Bobs.

The hotel we stayed at, equal to a LaQuinta or something that caliber, had a shuttle that took us there and picked us up. We were there for the Stockyard thing, not the downtown FW thing. It's logistically separate.

Anyway... come to St Pattys on greenville this year. I promise it will be worth it.
