old folks like me have The Hartford,small down payment then 11 equal payments there after.
if you pay more than the minimum one month it's less the next.

What I don't understand is how any state allows drivers NOT to carry insurance. In NJ, it's a felony. In Virginia? Nope. Don't even need insurance. At all.

So if you get into an accident where your cars are totaled...what? You lose your home if you can't pay?

Explain this to me.

unlikely people with equity in their houses wouldn't protect it with auto insurance

They are trying to tell me that you don't have to pay first/last on a new insurance policy, for a new vehicle.

I've never carried a policy that didn't insist on first/last, if you are going on a month-to-month basis.

I pay my Auto Insurance premiums every 6 months... When I've purchased new vehicles, I've called them up & gave them the new car info over the phone ...& they mail me a bill if there's going to be an increase in cost... Try 21st Century Insurance... They're substantially cheaper than anyone else out there
