    I have Facebook under a pseudonym, really just b/c so many friends bugged me to get on it. I hardly ever use it & really hate it.

    Facebook gives me an opportunity to stay in touch with people that I wouldn't necessarily call, or invite over - but still care about.

    LOTS of family attached to my FB, that live far away and have lives of their own. I get to see parts of their lives, their new spouses, their children....I appreciate it for that aspect.
