Why did the Beach Boys want to take Pretty Mama there? I mean a trip to Aruba, Jamaica, Bermuda, Bahama(s), Key Largo, Montego, Martinique, Montserrat, and Port-au-Prince all seem lovely, but unless Pretty Mama was gonna fuck Gridman, Indiana doesn't seem so great

I am glad they changed it. That song sucks balls and the name Kokomo is very fruity IMO.

I've been to Kokomo, Indiana many times. A tropical paradise it is not. In fact, there were some factories in Kokomo that polluted the Wabash river and made the fishing downstream in my home town, unsafe. I don't remember why but we used to go there for the strip joints. We had strip joints in our town but for some reason Kokomo was more alluring.

Bob's Country Bunker, featured in the Original Blues Brothers movie, was supposed to be in Kokomo.

I think I've driven through it on the way to Indianapolis....and thought the same thing. Theres GOT TO be another Kokomo.
