No new South Park until SEPTEMBER?!

They've always done 7 starting in March and 7 starting in September. Now, they're skipping March and doing 10 in the fall.

I enjoyed Southpark, but in recent years... don't watch, not a fan.

They've been batting .125 for the last few years, but I still looked foreword to their March episodes because there's so little on TV this time of year.

The season premieres were always fun, because they usually had a great take on the big news story from over the winter.

It used to be that all new shows were premiered in September. That was before a writer's strike screwed that all up. Now new seasons are released all willey-nilly.

I still occasionally watch South Park, but they lost me when the show transitioned from actual plot based episodes with jokes, to just riffing on current events. Those late 90's episodes and the movie put the last 10 or so years to shame. You just don't get to see a Mecha Streisand caliber episode these days.

They are. Once they started really doing topical stuff it became 100x better...if people quit watching a few years ago it's their loss..
