Carrie Fisher will return as Leia in Star Wars Episode VII...

The princess strikes back! Carrie Fisher reveals she will return as Leia in Star Wars Episode VII

For many she is the very definition of a science fiction babe.
So fans of Star Wars will no doubt be delighted Carrie Fisher has decided to reprise her role as Princess Leia in the forthcoming Star Wars sequel.
When asked whether Luke Skywalker's sister would be making a return, the 56-year-old said 'yes.'

They will need to fire up all the computers at Pixar to make her look like this again!

I would imagine she will be more like this character in the next Star Wars.

Could be very awesome if they don't fuck up the plot, like with the prequels

Read somewhere that Mark Hamill is the same age as Alec Guinness was in the original Star Wars. Its fate that these movies are being made and they will kick ass again.

    She does?

I think she still needs to drop at least 30. And Hamill and Ford look their age, IMO.

I wonder if it's going to be about Luke's kids or Leia's and who they'll cast.

Anyone know who the "big bad" will be now that the Emperor and Vader are dead? I don't follow the books.

I would, however, like to see The Clone Wars (currently airing on Cartoon Network) converted into a 3 part series, even though the Clone Wars occurred between (what was it?) episode II and III.

Anyone know when The Clone Wars comes back this season to Cartoon Network?

I LOVE that they are all excited to be involved now that Lucas isn't behind it.

There is a lot of speculation that the movies scripts will be based of these books. In them there is a Admiral that escaped with the remnants of the Imperial fleet and he is using Lukes hand that got chopped off in Empire Strikes Back to clone Jedi stormtroopers. Thats all I can remember about the books its been awhile since I read them. Good read for any Star Wars fan.

He had that bad accident just after he made the first Star Wars, so in the next two, he was already different.

There are 3 GREAT books written by Timothy Zahn called the "Thrawn Trilogy".

It's essentially a sequel to Jedi. Han and Leia are married, she's pregnant with twins and is a big wig politician. Luke is training Leia as well.

The bad guy is Admiral Thrawn, one of the few remaining high ranking officers in the Empire.

The are EXCELLENT books. Just google the reviews.

Impressive by Hollywood standards, Hamill married his wife in 78' and they are still together.
