    Dexter To End After Season 8

    The show's upcoming season will be its last.


    March 4, 2013

    It is being reported that Dexter will be ending after this upcoming season,
    its eighth. CBS Corporation President, Les Moonves, broke the news
    himself during a Q&A session today at Deutsche Bank's 2013 DbAccess
    Media and Telecom Conference. Showtime, Dexter's cable home, is a
    subsidiary of CBS Corporation.

    They redeemed themselves a bit with this last season, it was much more entertaining, so now is a good time for it to end.

    It was basically horrible after Lithgows season.
