    Many Thanks for the good wishes for my Mom

    Thanks to all of you who have extended their good wishes and prayers for my Mom.

    Just found out she has pancreatic cancer and won't be around much longer.
    She's in he late 70's and has been told she has about 6 months.

    Cancer Sucks.

    That same cancer got my mom in her early 70's. sorry to hear it, best to you and yours.

    So sorry to hear that. I know someone your mothers age that was diagnosed 5 years ago and is doing well. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

    I really wish doctors wouldn't guesstimate how much time a person has left. They gave Patrick Swayze "a few months" to live and he survived almost two years. My mom had pulmonary fibrosis and they gave her five years. A couple of months later, they changed it to two years. She died four months later.

    You never know, Keyser. And neither do the doctors. I hope you all squeeze every drop of joy out of every day you have together.
