Give it another generation and these fucks will be telling us we have to accept the kid fuckers because they "were born that way" just like the gays.

Had another prof for an undergrad class called Film and History. I figured it would be an easy class to fill one of my liberal arts requirements. The first thing I discovered in class was he assigned about 30 different books or some similarly ridiculous number. It fucking cost my ass nearly $700 to cover which really sucked for me because I was paying my own way through school (no loans, no grants, no help from family, etc. That's a story in and of itself). And the fucker was ALLLLL about helping poor people YET he very specifically harmed his poor students with his insane book-list (one of which was his). AND the fucker would pick, on average, about 30 pages from each of those books. Oh, I hated that fuck. He later went to teach at Harvard.

The other lib-arts requirement I took? It was called on the university website "19th Century American Literature." First class, the prof modified it to, "19th Century American Literature: A Study of Early Feminism." I wanted to drop it so badly but because I was working full-time (paying my own fucking way, you know), I could not find another class to substitute that had an amenable time-slot. I was fucked. That was another class where the prof assigned a few hundred bucks in fucking books and talked about having compassion for the poor.

Every one of my business profs (I got a BBA) were VERY sensitive to student finances and did their level best to assign a semi-affordable load of books for the class. Business profs would often even be sensitive to us students who bought used books that were an addition behind and teach around the added content or distribute printouts from the latest addition to the students if it contained class material.

In other words the liberal arts profs are ivory-tower fucks who are utterly clueless. The above "workshop" exhibits the fact.

But again, hey, it's university. It's where whack-job ideas get an audience in the name of academics.

Sure. Divide your income further. That's a smart plan.
