    john isnt too smart. he shouldnt tell anyone when he goes on vaca, just play repeats and no one will know.
    and even if some fans figure it out, the advertisers wont and you can stil get top rates.

    I doubt Stewart makes a fraction of what Howard and Francesa make.

    He's on comedy central afterall.

    Also am I the only person who thinks he and colbert are two of the most overrated comics out there.

    I was a fan of both of them well before the daily show's popularity really took off but the way those two are slobbered over in the press is annoying.

    Heck I always felt their shows were a pc/left-leaning/ poor man's version of what Robin's news was back in the 90s

    Whether you like him or his politics, at least Stewart busts his ass to put on an entertaining and informative show every night. Whether he succeeds is subjective, but unlike Howard, he at least tries.

    how would you know if he busts his ass? his show is 20 minutes long and he has a million writers and producers. i would think it is a way easier job than what howard has to do.
