Dallas People - Stars Games

If a game is sold out whats' the best strategy to get tickets? Scalpers on game night? Stubhub? I'm far from there so craigslist might not be a good option but I do have someone that can pick them up if needed.

Any other avenues? If not which of those is the best?

There will be some tickets for sale outside of the arena but not too many. If it's sold out, you will be better off going to a site like stubhub. I've never heard of a sold out Stars game but I've bought lots of Maverick tickets on the secondary market. I've used Ticket city before. I think they are all about the same. If you want to take a chance, try Craigslist. I've been to other places where there are tickets outside of the arena everywhere. That doesn't really happen in Dallas for some reason. There will be a few, like I said, but not a lot.

was shocked it was sold out, but stars - blackhawks so must be people trying to get in a blackhawks game.

I did see ticketcity in my searching so I will keep trying them and stub, thanks Gwartney!

Ebay is good. Stars arent a huge draw at the moment. Craigslist is ok...just dont get swindled. They will be for sale all around the arena..

its the blackhawks that are the draw though, saturday night game st. patricks day weekend. it's like I lined up everything I could against myself to get reasonable tickets to a game

Make sure you hit up the Greenville Ave St. Patricks Day Parade Saturday morning. Its the most fun we are allowed to have in Dallas all year.

thnks dude. think we are going to ripped off for this game, no cheap tix anywhere. just have to figure out where we want the seats if we do it this way, same as stub or ticketcity.

That site's prices are NY Ranger prices for those seats. There has to be a cheaper place...it's the Dallas Stars for chrissakes.

Would've thought that they're $40 for decent seats.

We get there at like 4am. They start shutting down streets at like 9. I think it starts at 10.30. Its fun down there...full blown party by 8am.

EXACTLY!!! thank you. It's not a friggin leafs game.

I am shocked by these prices, that's why I think the chicago piece is what's driving it.

so reading about the parade I do not see one irish surname as an organizer. interesting.

Yeah....its not really a St. Patricks Day parade.... its mostly businesses and pet adoptions and NORML..stuff like that....its all about the preparty...and the afterparty.
