I don't want to split hairs here, but since beer isn't uniquely American I don't think any brand of beers, even American brands belong in the discussion. Then again it's your thread so do as you see fit.

You must be thinking of Rolling Rock. Once made in Latrobe, PA but is now part of the Bud family and is made in Jersey. That is skunky. Kind of a white-trash Heineken.
Yuengling is NEVER skunky.

Nope. I've had Yuengling on a number of occasions. I don't like green bottle beer generally and find it all to have a hint of skunkcuntedness to it so I'm probably a little biased.

Well, music isn't uniquely American... but Rock IS.
Tattoos aren't uniquely American... but the traditional style and its influence IS.

So no, beer isn't uniquely American. But this specific brew is a staple of my life and a fixture in my region, as well as a beacon for domestically owned and operated companies. So to me, it's an American creation that is worthy of props.

The criteria here are not stringent. If it means something to somebody and is uniquely American on SOME level... it counts.
