My guess is that she's been off the radar in order to drum up viewer ratings when she finally comes back into the public's eye.. Everyone here, whether they admit it or not, are dying to see what she looks like. Too bad it's only the 500 of us that are still interested. She's expecting huge numbers for all her interviews when it will only be the first show that will get the lookie lou's turning out to see why she has been at home for almost a year. Once seen there will be nothing left too see.
The above statement is being made of my own free will. This site neither condones nor agrees to anything I post but for my right to post what I feel.
I think I have to disagree. Howard is in AGT promotion mode. There is a lot to talk about with two new host and how was integral to the whole retooling of the judging. There is no way he will allow a ounce of attention to be turned towards anyone else. I say Robin quietly promotes her book while Howard bored us to tears with AGT stories. It will be a slow build this year as they win back the audience.

No Robin Quivers on today's 'Today Show'
Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers was scheduled to appear on Friday morning's 'Today Show' according to a publicity calendar from her publisher Penguin Books, but she was nowhere to be found. Quivers was slated to promote her new cookbook/memoir "The Vegucation of Robin: How Real Food Saved My Life". The book was originally scheduled for a March 26, 2013 release date, but last week Amazon.com changed it to October 8, 2013 without explanation.

That book is a leftover from the period when Miserable Cunt was persisting in the notion that she could somehow have her own show. Sad reality is she is no better than a whack packer, Howard's charity is her only path to time on the air.

Roger: No that's Pete
Also from the article:
Quivers has been out of the studio and broadcasting from home via ISDN line since May 2012 after she underwent surgery to remove a grapefruit sized tumor found pressing on her bladder. Quivers' publicity team has stated that they will release no information regarding the Howard Stern Show queen's personal health.

That's great, Robin's "publicity team" refuses to release any info about her personal health. She's coming out with book about how eating healthy SAVED HER LIFE for Christ's sake, doesn't that make her personal health a relevant issue?
This makes sense to me. Howard needs/prays that AGT has a modicum of success this season, I think it runs from June -Sept.
Given the low reaction to the announcement of her book and that she is still out of the studio, October makes sense for all (Buchwald) parties concerned.
According to Amazon, the publication date has been pushed back to October 8, 2013 which may why those March-April appearances were cancelled. Maybe real food hasn't yet saved her life?![]()
"Known for her levelheaded, deadpan comebacks to Howard Stern’s often outrageous banter, Robin Quivers is a force of nature. Yet few people know about her struggles with food—especially the high-fat, high-sugar, high-cholesterol, highly addictive foods that doomed many of her relatives to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Sick and tired of being sick and tired, she knew it was time to stop her slow slide into bad health. Quivers took a stand in her personal nutrition battle and emerged victorious thanks to a plant-based diet.
On her sometimes rocky, though endearingly hysterical, path to newfound health, Quivers discovered the power of the produce aisle in changing her body and her mindset. By filling up on soul-quenching, cell-loving vegetables instead of damaging animal products and processed foods, Quivers left behind the injuries, aches, and pains that had plagued her for twenty years. Charting her inspiring road to wellness, The Vegucation of Robin describes her transformation inside and out, and, including ninety of her favorite vegan recipes, she encourages readers to join her in putting their health first.
With her signature humor and wit, Quivers builds an undeniable case that the key to living the life you’ve always wanted lies not with your doctor but in your refrigerator. Putting a new face on the pro-veggie movement, Quivers will dazzle readers who want to look good, feel good, and have fun doing it." These aren't the type of claims someone who refuses to discuss details of her personal health should be making. An honest person would come come clean about her health problems or cancel the book.
