    Burned the fuck out!

I still have a good work ethic and take my job and duties quite seriously. I come across like I care and am truly concerned (I am often complemented on how professional, personable and compassionate I am). Yet I think it may not be possible for me to care any less than I do today, until tomorrow when I somehow find a new level of disinterest. Ugh. I love the rare instances when something happens that makes all of the nonsense seem worthwhile but most of the time I just do it for the paycheck. Whaaaaaa!

Who here loves to go to work?

I love it so much .... that when I win the lottery, I'm going to quit my job & let others experience it. I want them to be as happy as me.

I hate to admit that I am enjoying my unemployment and That It sucks getting paid not to work but I kind of do. I miss the fact that I dont value time as much. I used to enjoy getting off work and doing dumb stuff like watch a movie and have a snack but i never work so I do that all day and its not as enjoyable. Also having a routine is good for me and I dont have that right now.

It'll work out for ya'......you just gotta put the effort in, be persistent and give it some time.

I've never been out of work. I've worked full time since I was 16......straight from school until 11pm mon-fri. Now I juggle my regular job and a few side gigs plus dealing with the mini-farm and keeping Mrs. Lemmy happy. I can retire in 8 years but I'll probably stick it out another 15. Retirement and having an open schedule is the paradise I'm working so hard for now.

How in the heck do you do all of that?

My mom's hairdresser is like that. She and her husband run a barber school and they have a bed and breakfast AND they have a farm with miniature ponies and a massive rose garden that needs constant attention.

I haven't even tasered anyone in years! We were also told no car chases no matter what. WTF?!?! I would have gotten a real job had I known they were going to take all of the fun stuff out of this one! I can't believe I'm the old guy reminiscing of how fun things used to be. FUCK!

Problem is, all the extra work puts money in yer pocket.....but you have no time to enjoy it

Then the OT dries up and you have a lot of time but less money to spend enjoying that time

The work at home is actually therapeutic and what I look forward too while dealing with the drudgery at work. Plus Mrs. Lemmy is quite the hard worker and takes care of things while I'm making extra $$$$. She's a great broad!
