He announced it on his show today, but the details have yet to be worked out. He's having a meeting with Howie to discuss whether it will be H101, and if so the time slot and the type of shows. At this point, I'd rather get an all Bubba channel with Shannon Burke in afternoon drive, but at least I have a reason to listen to Sirius aside from Jay Thomas again.

I might have misunderstood, but based on what Shannon said yesterday and Bubba said this morning, the Satellite aspect is basically "official". Whether SXM just simulcasts his show on some obscure channel a la Artie or puts it on H101 is the part that's only likely. Shannon didn't say anything about whether he would be going to Satellite, so I tend to doubt it, but there's no harm in hoping.

Yeah. I agree that it's happening. But occasionally Bubba counts his chickens before they hatch so to speak. So IMO it's best to stay skeptical until it's officially announced. Ideally I'd like to see Bubba One simulcast on Sirius XM. Then IO could get some badly needed cash flow and they can start putting effort into the channel again.

Still better than the current Stern Show, and I have a Sirius boom box at work so I could listen to Bubba regularly again.
