I've noticed two things about online dating sites like Match.com, eHarmony, etc.

The chick could be 5'2 or 5'4 and the overwhelming majority say shit like, "must be over 6 foot", "no one shorter than 5'10", etc. It isn't just that a guy could be 5 or 6 inches taller than her (a dude 5' 8" dating someone 5'2"), that's not good enough, he absolutely can't be short. Disgusting. Like he has AIDS.

and

2) Men really punish women about their age. We all demand to date someone younger. Funny shit. "52 y/o male seeking someone in early to mid 30s", again and again and again with every demographic, men absolutely do not what to date their own age. The problem is, this plan only works if you have a lot of money.

Perhaps the reason all these losers are perceptually single is because they're just a tad too unrealistic, too picky, in denial with their "I'm not going to settle" crap where they mistakenly believe Mr/Ms Perfect will come along if they simply wait and wait and wait and wait long enough.

My mom and sister have both used these sites and they will both be perceptually single because they are doing exactly what you've said!

It's crazy. MY mom is almost in her mid-70s and she is still unwilling to date a guy unless he's taller than her. What the f. WHAT THE F. Be happy to be alive and walking!

Did you even read before you replied? Her mom is single, perpetually single and is now reaching her mid-70s, have fun with those "rights".

Oh and I didn't say "a few inches taller" either - the point was that a large majority of women 5 feet or 5'2 inches tall, wouldn't want to date a guy 5'7" because he's "short" even though he is 5-7 inches taller.
