I live in New Orleans. Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere here yet, but the third day of AGT tapings was cancelled last week, and they are still trying to find people to to take the FREE tickets to the other two days of tapings. They have been sending multiple emails that past few days.


It's being held at a small arena that's on the edge of the city at UNO. 10,000 seats. Probably a lot less when you factor in they have to build a whole stage, backstage, camera rigs, whatever.


There's not that much to do here outside of sports/parade season, so I'm surprised they can't get asses in the seats between all the tourists and college kids, but AGT is terrible so I am also not surprised. Also strange that they would choose to tape Mon-Wed (show days!), when it would be a lot easier to find people on a weekend.


Whatever delusions anyone still has about Howard and his level of fame/influence, this is the reality. Barely able to draw ~8000 live bodies to come watch a free talent show on NBC.

With the second day of taping cancelled Howard still won't be in on Wed. Tuesday return on private jet that takes 3 hours. He needs Wed for a full day of recovery so he can enjoy TFSS with fabulous Beth O in the Hamptons taking more stupid photos of cats in baby carriages.

It is the start of auditions. Expect a lot of two day work weeks.

And Fake video clips where Howard is shown leaving the Sirius building to trumpeting applause, then braving the late afternoon traffic to be driven to jersey (stopping to thank a police officer on the way) only to arrive just in time to put in his best effort to deliver yet bother great agt show! He does this every day, 5 days per week for 52 weeks a year!

Of course, none of this will stop Howard from claiming that the response was huge and they had to turn fans away because the demand for tickets was so high.
