Howard is out of touch

Not sure what day it was this week but during one of the wrap up shows a few callers called in to ask essentially if Howard was relevant. The callers were asking why Howard didn't know the name of Seth Green and why Howard didn't know the names of guys like Daniel Tosh or other current comics. Monkey boy defended Howard, saying, there is so much on TV these days no one could keep up with it. Yet Monkey and Hein seem to know who these people are. When someone has to defend Howard and say Howard is relevant and is with the modern trends that is a sure sign he isn't. Howard is an old fucking man who should get the fuck off the radio and let some younger, more able talent do the job. But Howard is such a fucking narcissist that he would never let someone else come in and take over the show. So we are stuck with shit until he retires.

I think the real problem for Howard isn't that he no longer knows who is relevant but that very few people find him relevant.

He's not completely forgotten but he's almost there. And the large percentage of people who do remember him see him as a joke. Imus has a cowboy hat and a ranch. Howard has a wig and a beach house.

The man hasn't made a good career move in 6 years.
