To be fair I must say, regardless of fruity hats and hemp woven hoodies, this was quite a friendly crowd. I always expect a certain percentage of the crowd to not want any contact with the police and I expected the ratio to be quite high with this crowd. It's always good to be wrong......lots of funny bantering, good natured chattering, some handshakes and "thanks for a good job/service" type of comments. Almost makes me feel bad for wishing for pyrotechnic mishaps!
