    Princess & the Pig

"In this very first episode of Spoiled Rotten Pets, animal advocate and host, Beth Stern, makes her way through some outrageous pet pampering and some shockingly over indulgent pet owners who wouldn't have it any other way. Beth accompanies owners Dave and Jennifer along with their ‘girls', Wilma & Pebbles, to Ross Mill Farms, the only full service pet pig spa and boarding facility in the world. Once there, Beth tries her hand at becoming a ‘pig-tician, and experiences all the spoiling that happens at this grandiose getaway. We also meet Dominic and Shannon, who are raising a pretty pampered clan complete with small children and over 100 reptiles – all under the same roof! From pythons to turtles and lizards to crocodiles, this family knows how to spoil their scaly sidekicks. And let's not forget the NYC fashionista Tasha, who along with her mom Susan, attends regular Pup Scouts meetings so as she can adorn her meticulous uniform with badges that show all her accomplishments, from art work to tricks, and swimming to community service. These are some spoiled rotten pets!"

    Ferrets & Tiaras

"Beth travels to Chicago, Illinois to visit Pam and Perry who have two ferrets, Mr. Binky and Lola. These ferrets are competing at The Greatest Ferret Show on Earth, an exciting annual event for ferret lovers, and Beth is only too happy to get involved. Although she was not familiar with ferrets before, everything changes as Beth navigates her way through the convention, checking out the competition and nervously awaiting Mr. Binky and Lola's performances. It turns out that being 6 years old puts you in the senior category and that Mr. Binky only has one shot left at a title so it's a nail-biting day for all. Meanwhile in New York City, Cynthia wants to do everything for her spoiled Toto, no matter how unconventional it may appear. Fulfilling your dog's every desire sometimes also means thinking a little differently, and consulting another world. That's where Madrette the Paw Reader comes in, to do a reading for Toto so as Cynthia can ensure that she's not missing anything from Toto's list of needs. Think you've seen it all? Not yet you haven't. But how about a picnic with Madonna? This Bad Ass knows how to kick up a fuss but owner Cornelia can't stop loving her, no matter how much trouble she causes."

    Barking Bride

"Beth visits Fionna, who is having a bachelorette party with all the trimmings the day before her wedding to Chico. And truthfully it all sounds perfectly normal until you realize that Fionna and Chico are dogs! Fionna's owner Lori explains that Fionna had a rough life and after Lori adopted her from a shelter, she wanted her to have the life she always dreamed of, or as she puts it – “hit the doggie lottery!” But it turned out life wasn't all bad at the shelter as she was taken care of and met and fell in love with Chico. Chico's owners Kathy and Greg explain that they want their dog to also feel spoiled and get to celebrate his love affair with Fionna. We also get to meet Franklin - the ultimate apartment dwelling hipster from Brooklyn, New York, who happens to be a pot-bellied pig! His owners Liza and Joe pamper this pig so much that he even goes to work with Joe so as he can hang out in the garden center at the back of the hardware store, and never be left alone. In fact, it turns out he's actually good for business as customers sometimes come just to lavish attention on him. We also meet a pair of ferrets, Gaby and Bella, who know all about being the center of attention as their owners, Tammy and John insist on treating them like princesses, and even – something to sing about."

    Lucky Ducks

"Beth tours a farm with owner Mike, who has as his best friend and companion, Chase, the supposed working dog on the farm. Except that's not what Beth finds as she picks corn and pumpkins while this lazy dog hangs out on fly patrol. All this work has left Chase with a few pounds to lose, so this spoiled canine does it in style. He spends time in an exclusive animal inn so as his slim figure can be returned to him with no interruption to his spoiling. We also visit Nettie and Alex in Chicago, who have turned two winged creatures into some seriously lucky ducks. These feathered friends have clothes designed for them, nail polish, bath treats and even go on outings with their owners. Nettie built a custom carrier for her bike so as Victor and Ming Mae can even accompany them on trips to the park or the beach! Then we visit Jess and Eric who became so obsessed with spoiling their three dogs that they made an entire business out of it. These owners wanted Bubba, Rose and Earl to only eat the best foods and so began cooking at home for them. Their research went so far that they decided to open a business where their dogs take center frame – as their official taste testers! After all, you don't just bungle together any old organic ingredients, you want to be sure your recipe constantly develops, and who better to lead you than your intended customers?"

    Bark Mitzvah

"Beth introduces us to a ceremony she's never even heard of – a 'Bark Mitzvah'. She pays a visit to Donna and Dave, owners of Nicky and Sophia, two Pomeranian dogs. This Jewish family previously threw a 'Bark Mitzvah' for Nicky, and now it's Sophia's turn. Beth assists with some of the preparation days before the event, like helping Sophia choose the right flowers, the best tasting cake, and of course selecting her own outfit. Donna and Dave spare no expense when it comes to what they see as a wonderful celebration for family and friends – and their dogs, and Beth finds out first hand that there actually is a lot of barking, at a 'Bark Mitzvah'. We also get to meet Marissa who spoils her cats so much that she can't bear to ever leave them because she worries about their care when she's not there. Her dear friend Karen will take over for the short term, but Marissa is also worried about their long term care and so visits her lawyer to make a will that will take care of her furry friends. And then there's Diane, who has a lot of work to do on the weekends to make sure her shelled creatures enjoy their Sunday family brunch – turtle style. These seventeen turtles and tortoises gather with Diane, her boyfriend and her Dad, so as they may all enjoy good food, the outdoors, and some seriously coddled company."

    Reigning Rats and Dogs

"Beth visits Sharon in Montauk, who loves Afghan dogs so much – she has six of them. These pups are so spoiled that they even have their own bedroom! Sharon dedicates so much of her time to these longhaired creatures it's a wonder that she has time to play favorites – but she does, and Aiden is most certainly the apple of her eye. She even refers to him as her ‘gifted dog. And this gifted dog has it made. Beth discovers that Aiden even attends dancing classes and invites herself along to a class so as she might understand exactly how it is that a dog, can dance. We also meet Diane who feels just as passionate about her pets, although truthfully, most people wouldn't agree with her. In fact, most people would call the exterminator if their homes housed what she does. Diane has ten rats that she pampers and even parties with. And then there's Dale's family; a husband, two kids and sixteen dragons! These bearded dragons are pampered by the entire family and get their own photo shoot to boot. Making a yearly calendar to ensure these beauties are given the right costume, setting and month, makes this dragon photo shoot, a family affair."

You do your scary great pictures because you're a professional. I'll take my stupid...automatic camera...take pictures and we'll see if people can tell the difference. - HS, 2-1-02

Well, they had to change the name from "Posh Pets", so they're obviously aware before it even starts that it's offensive. It's changes the original tone of the show, like they're disgusted and appalled by these people, too.
