Bonnie Bernstein confronts Artie on Nick's firing with an ARM follow up Zoo Za Zoo

Ok...I don't know where to start with this exchange but I'll try. Bonnie Bernstein of CBS SPORTS was filling in for Artie's (who seemingly has Howard's vacatialution schedule now and is off every other week) show the other night and decided she was sick of getting hate and accused on twitter about Nick being fired and breaking up the show. So she made sure Artie called in to his own show to clear the air Bonnie had nothing to do with it.

Artie sounds very tired and dare I say "wasted", and waffles a bit but give Bonnie credit she comes right at him and demands her name is cleared. THEN I'm drinking (and you should be able to tell on my call) and see an opening on her guest JAMMED show and call in to give her props for the interview. BUT listen you radio aficionados of how my call is chopped up especially in the beginning.

ANY mention I do of Nick Dipaolo is dumped! I even sing Phil Collins "Separate Lives" and incorporate him in by going "YOU HAD NO RIIIIIGGHTTT TO ASK NICK HOW HE FEEEELS!" and that was dumped in LA by his crew (not Bonnie who LIKED the comments and singing). Even a line I was proud of where I simply said "ARTIE BACKPEDDALED MORE THAN HORACE GRANT IN 1992!" was dumped.

Of course I go on to ramble about other shit and drunkenly break balls as I contrived a fake story about Bonnie and Maryland basketball as if my real friend (who really went to Maryland) tipped me off of this gossip.

ANd this the podcast version with Nick and Horace Grant mentions put BACK in but "Bonnierexic" taken out???

He's out like every other week for one reason or another. He seemingly has Howard's vacatiolution schedule. I remember RUSH came to the BARCLAY CENTER and he took two weeks off.

I have to say, I'm with you ARM. I enjoyed the first shows after Nick left a lot, but it's getting to be ridiculous. I still listen to the podcast on my way to work, but I think Artie needs to commit to the show more or I may bail down the line.

I'm with you, he's out waaayyyyy too much that he's gonna alienate even his most hardcore fanbase and perhaps do a Howard. This shit gets shadier every day, the Nick departure is STILL one of the strangest axes I've ever seen in any medium as HE was the one that CONCEIVED the fucking show and got Artie in.

The Bocchetti and Twins pinata has been smacked waayyy too much as well as those forced hipster bands they crowbar onto the show.

He has the week off, and he's doing promos in LA. Also, this is some bullshit, but I can only speculate that Nick's buyout deal goes both ways and Artie has his hands tied. That, or he's being a fucking pussy.

I think prob ALL of the above, but it was also WEIRD how Bonnie and Artie's mentions of Nick are in and mine are dumped like Estevez and Sheen in MEN AT WORK.

When Artie said that there was no show this week, I was stunned. Regardless of whether or not he's on drugs again or not-it's absolutely FOOLISH of a new show-because while yes the "show" has been around for a while "THE ARTIE LANGE SHOW" has only been on the air a little over a month-to ALREADY be on vacation for a week. How do you build momentum like that? A lot of people tuning in that aren't on here or the Facebook Page of the show (which makes NO MENTION OFFICIALLY of the show being on vacation for a week) are just going to think the show was cancelled and not tune in again. It's piss poor run in that way. They only announce in the closing seconds of Friday's show that they will be on break this week, no official announcement is made on any official webpage of the show, and this comes on the heels of Artie looking high as fuck the week before the show went on vacation. If I wasn't on here, I would think the show was cancelled.

Artie is the biggest problem sad to say at the moment, but having said that, it's not just him that's screwing up at the show. They need to all get their shit together and be a better run production if they have a prayer of being around by summer. And I hate to say that because I love Artie and loved the show, but lately it's been a snooze-fest sprinkled with a touch of noddin' off ness...........

Ya hear all those slices??? The irony WAS the call screener (very cool guy and I think in LA) LOVED that I wanted to compliment Bonnie and weigh in because no one else was. He ENCOURAGED me to go down that route and someone else decided to dice it up with their 2 minute delay.
