Shark Tank is a spin off; of the UK/Canadian show called Dragon Dens. Kevin Oleary (Mr. Wonderful), who is a Canadian, is also on the Canadian version of Dragons Den.

I love both shows, but the stakes are obviously bigger in Shark tank. I also think the one chick they have on Shark Tank is kinda sexy - no not Barbara- the other one.

I love the show. The best episode I saw was some younger guy from indiana who invented and patented a gluten-free playdough and all of the sharks were fighting with eachother because they wanted a piece of the action. I did read though that 90% or more of the 'deals' that are made on the show get cancelled once the cameras are off. There is some clause that the sharks can reneg their offers at any time and most of them do.
