Got to admit, I really like the look of the new controller.

Hal, do you have any idea what kind of innovations this new console will have? I mean aside from just faster processor and technical stuff like that. It seems like now when something new comes out it is no longer a big leap in technology like it used to be: NES-SNES-N64, PS1-PS2-PS3, Xbox-Xbox360.

It looks like you will be able to stream PS3 games on it, because it isn't backwards compatible. And Id expect lots of talk about how easily it will be to connect phones and tablets to it.

Meh. I will wait for the Xbox720 and hope that they add Blu-ray to it. I think we have hit a plateau in terms of game consoles and innovation.

I read somewhere that Blu Ray is pretty much confirmed for the next XBox.

I'm glad it's not backwards compatible. Why waste time and space on that when you will have all the new games to play? If you want to play your old games, keep your old system.

I dont know. I like when their is the option to play some of your older games on the new console. Especially at the start of a new system when there aren't a lot of games available.
