I Just watched a really good documentary that tries to explain otaku to american culture I thought it was really interesting and gave some good insights. makes me want to move there even more

Mostly I like their video games but a few comics and anime of theirs I appreciate.

I suppose it's an individual thing whether you consider it to be art or not, but since it came from someone's imagination and they put it on paper or some kind of medium, it is art, I guess.
