Anybody watch David spades sitcom rules of engagement?

There has been 7 seasons? Is it funny?

My wife likes it--I'm sort of indifferent--but Spade's often the best thing on it.

There's another actor; a big guy, I can't remember his name, but he's funny on the show.

Never watched it. May have seen some previews. Not interested.

Spade has been in some real shit. Shit that's made money, but shit.

Grown Ups 2? Really? The preview of the first one was enough to turn me off:

Probably referring to Patrick Warburton, he was Puddy on Seinfeld and has done a ton of voice work for animation, very funny guy. I've only flipped by reruns of the show late at night, main thing that jumps out is that makeup artists are still having a tough time coping with HDTV.

David Spade has always seemed to me like his career, outside of random cameos, effectively ended when Chris Farley died.

But the guy has spent many years working regularly on various TV shows I've never seen or heard of.

I guess he's actually pretty successful but he still always seems like a D level celebrity to me.....

That show might be good if they fire Spade and make Patrick Warburton the star. He and H. John Benjamin are the best VAs going, no offense to Billy West.

It's completely forgettable and was almost canceled a few times. But compared to most of what's on it's less insulting to one's intelligence so I watch upon occasion if nothing else is on. David is lucky to get so many long run sit-com roles, they probably pay quite nicely.

It's a good show. It's not awesome, can't-miss television, but it's usually good for a few laughs. They've got Puddy from Seinfeld. He's married to a MILF. Spade's assistant is this guy Timmy, who's usually very funny.
