Did Spade took a couple of shots at Stern today?

Maybe I heard it wrong, but it sounded like Spade took a couple of shots at Howard today;

One was:

He told his driver he was going to the Stern Show. He said the driver asked "What is that again?" He responded "radio" and the driver said "yeah! yeah! yeah!"

The other time he said Howard used to egg on strippers for getting naked in the studio and now when a woman wants to get into the studio Howard asks what happened to her to make her want to get naked on in the studio.

Yes, David started talking about a dispute he had with the terms of his seven rules of engagement show contract. Then Howard started in on his own contract issue with Sirius and how he had to sue. David said "Yeah I heard about your contract like everyday" but it is ok it takes away from the AGT talk" even Robin laughed at that one.

it sounded like David knows what's up...how the show has tanked. The only funny parts were Wiggo ignoring the jabs and quickly changing the subject.

It sounded like Spade was saying he used to come on the show because it was fun and you never knew what to expect but now he is just on to plug his stuff. I don't think we will be seeing Spade on the show again unless he comes in with Chris Rock or Rob Schneider to plug "Grownups 2".

Spade had a perfect rant about Howard evolution.
Especially that Spade called out Howard's voice change. Compression is great.

(funny how the tapes teams slow down the tapes to make Howard's voice darker. )

Yeah, he kinda poked fun at Howard's new over-modulated serious voice and his referencing everything back to childhood psychological issue.

be fair Howards voice is being fed thru a compressor and probably a maximizer AND probably he also uses some kind of high end vintage pre-amp which he runs right off his mic feed

How can the show be at this level???

Everyone says they're working longer hours and more days yet it doesn't show at all. Not one iota. Did they do any research at all? Any?????
