    it depends on where you go. Ruth's Chris in Jersey City calls it Newport. (Newport calls it hamburger...). In midtown i've seen it as Calif Cut and Sta Maria cut, but I've never ordered it in the city (in midtown i love steak au poivre; in brooklyn I only want Peter Luger porterhouse - i'm picky)
