I had a double hernia repaired arthroscopically a few years ago.

The recovery wasn't bad at all, I had to take it easy for a week at home, and they gave me this tennis ball type thing for pain that had a tube going into my abdomen to the site. They gave me instructions on taking it out myself which was a weird sensation. All in all, it wasn't bad. Which is good because now I have to go back and have them do it again
