    Why stop there.
How about the first time they prove they AREN'T that, their career ends and the public never has to worry about them ever going off the rails again instead of them getting the usual X weeks paid administrative leave while the professional apologists and rationalists (with people like you cheering on the side) hold the usual dog and pony show that's already a forgone conclusion so the now documented bad cop can be unleashed upon the public again?

Is that so unreasonable or too complicated for you?

And they don't hold each other to a higher standard or often even a median one because no matter how much one of them crosses the line it's still "us vs them" in their minds.

And then they have their bleating apologists in the public not holding them to a higher standard or even their own lower standards because...""Oh well, you know, they have a tough job, blah-blah-blah, ect., ect...."

Yea, it is a tough job and if you aren't psychologically, emotionally, temperamentally, and ethically fit to do it when it becomes tough and stressful....GET THE FUCK OUT.
I've been KTFO with a maglite by a cop. I didn't like it, but there are cops out there that die while trying to better society and ones that are scum. But how is this different than any profession. There are a lot of fucked up people out there and no matter what bad people will end up in all different professions. Higher standards? Who do you think you are dealing with?

That is a whole different issue.

Oh, I see, so there's no difference between bad eggs in different professions? So 500 bad and corrupt garbage men are as detrimental to society as 500 bad and corrupt cops? This is what you believe?

And as far as who I think I'm dealing with....as far as LEOs go I'm dealing with people who take an oath to be held to a higher standard.

But that's okay because I know many of them have their fingers crossed when they take it and that's why I choose not to deal with them EVER.

Nope. What I'm saying is it's impossible to weed out all of the bad people. You are never going to get them all, because we are imperfect. By the who do you think you are dealing with...how many simple things in this world are fucked up. We are not capable of what you want. I could probably be better, but take a look around the globe. Man doesn't coexist very well...I think you are giving to much credit to the human race. The majority of people out there are lunatics or unable to cope in society.

Hey, look at the new targets that LEO's are being trained with. They have 'old man with shotgun' and 'old woman with a gun', too.

This ain't Mayberry any more. Shit got real. They are practicing taking over a nursery and nursing homes for god's sakes.

I certainly don't have a problem holding cops accountable. I never said otherwise. You want me to be a cop apologist, but that doesn't 'make' me one.
The system doesn't work that well. None do. So go ahead and fix it.
It's a lot like needing to feel that the cops are 100% the enemy. You've decided I'm a cop apologist and that's that. Thick skulls can't be fixed.

who do you know is a saint 100% of the time? they are people; they are subjected to stress and sometimes they act less than saintly. you shouldn't hold them to a higher standard than anyone else.

Sorry but thats bullshit, if thats the case they need a different job. Their job is to uphold the law with a gun, of course they need to be held to a higher standard. I realize they can't be saints, but the ones that abuse their power and break the law are the worse kind of criminals. They do more than enough to make us mistrust them as a whole.

nope; you're being irrational and have unrealistic expectations. you expect every cop to be perfect; do you expect every priest to be perfect? how about every child? every woman? every employee?

the worst is that you don't realize you are demonstrating a closed mind, which make you imperfect as well.

My problem (at least where I live) is the good cops still stick up for the bad ones.

Thats right, the fucking pig went down a no outlet, checking peoples registration stickers, RATHER THAN LOOK FOR DRUNK DRIVERS. He/She literally had to punch in my plate to see when my birthday was.

7/10 cops are power hungry assholes, whos life peaked on the HS football team.

    Parking tickets > Drunk drivers.

Anyone who says 9/10 are cool is obviously full retard.

Wahhhhhhhhh...my car got broken into and the entire crime scene unit didn't show up to kiss my ass. It's not CSI asshole.

As for your parking complaint, park legally.

Stop posting while high...your birthday issue makes no sense.

Police departments recruit from the human race , some humans are good ,some are assholes. Sometimes assholes get through the screening process and become cops.

As far as holding cops accountable, they are more accountable than most. Would you get fired at your job for something you did off duty ,like one dwi, or domestic... Cops do.

Cowboy x must have caught his woman blowing a cop....
