Yup. But just imagine for a minute if it was actually true and they presented a body. Right now, it's really just a bunch of amateurs running around the woods but I'd be really interested in how the legitimate scientific community reacted. Would there suddenly be very well funded expeditions to capture a live one? What if they did capture a live one and it turned out it was somewhat intelligent? Imagine what that would do to the religious establishment who think that man is god's appointed caretaker of the earth.

I read one theory , where one scientist wrote if Bigfoot has gone 200 years or so with out being found due to small numbers. Now would be the time where their numbers grow due to the fact mankind has basically stopped exploring and stays in cities mostly.

Probably. They did find 100,000 lowland gorillas in the Congo around 2007 that they had no idea were there, so large primates are very good at hiding from men.

Gorilla bones and bodies are also very rare. They never would have found the gorillas at all had the survey team not been told about them by natives.
