I have no problem with the boy scouts, so long as they never use public facilities in a state where discrimination against gay people is against the law.
I mean, I'm terribly disappointed in their decision, but so long as they want to remain private (and their financials back that up), what can I do, except to give dirty looks to friends who send their kids there.
Actually, two dear friends of mine have a son who was a boy scout and he's terribly disappointed in them as well. He said he doesn't understand how a group that does so much good could be so wrong on this. His words. i was proud.
