    Are DVDs/Blu Rays being released way faster these days?

    I just saw a commercial that said Argo was being released this Tuesday. I checked and it's still in every theater around here.

    What's up with that?

    I think the window is down to 90 days after theater release. It used to be 180 days. I think I read somewhere they are trying to get it down to 60.

    I remember it used to be 6 months before movies were released to home video. That only seemed to be about 6-8 years ago.
