I do feel bad for her, somewhat. Even for "country" music, she was a one hit wonder. I remember she had some song about angels and was obviously some good looking white trash girl that a record producer threw onstage, only to be devoured by her drug addiction and Roger Clemens. For the record, I was forced to listen to shitloads of country music by my ex, I never liked it for one second (MAYBE Graham Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers, but that's a different deal altogether).

I love and play old school country all the time. I do some mean chicken pickin' on my guitar as well. And yeah, The Flying Burrito Brothers were fucking great; loved their sound. That kind of stuff is real country. In my opinion, pretty much everything in the "country" genre past Waylon Jennings is shit; it's not even close to the real stuff. The real shit isn't on the charts anymore, you have to listen to guys like Mike Ness or check out so called "alternative" country.

Honestly I think this woman was more famous for being addicted to drugs than anything else. She took one of her own children and ran away with him because her own mother had custody and she wanted the child back and the courts would not give him to her. She's been in rehab many times, and last month her boyfriend killed himself. I do remember reading a few times over the last month that her boyfriend's suicide was no being looked at again because things were starting to add up that it wasn't a suicide. And that when her boyfriend killed himself, she was the only one home with him at the time. She also killed her dog before she killed herself too. I am more upset that she killed the dog than that she took her own life.
