Be an ethical hunter and practice the shit out of that thing so you can make a clean, killing shot. If you're not willing to do that then sell the bow and go back to a firearm.

    I have one.. If I would pick a downside it's that they are really wide compared to a compound (I'll hunt out of a ground blind in winter). That's my only criticism of it.

    If your trying to go out this weekend you might be making a mistake. A xbow might have been a better investment. I had to get a new bow midseason because of theft and hunting with something I wasn't comfortable with, midrut sucked!
    Either way good luck with your hunt and hopefully they get close..
