I always love a good wig thread. Here's an interesting one I came across yesterday from Howard's old "E" show interview with Kiss. Paul seems keenly interested in Howard's hair at the beginning, with Howard telling him, "I'm growing my hair out to the side, that's my move" What's even more ironic is that Paul & Gene are also wigsters themselves. Maybe Paul was jealous of Howchie's "system"..

No it wasn't. There was a huge thread about it after his last letterman appearance.

Lmfao this picture right here. It and other similar ones with the same "part" near the front are good examples. I have a relative who wore one of these hair systems for awhile before he finally bit the bullet and shaved it all off. This is exactly what his hair would do and look like after about a month or less. The front part is held down by two way tape. the sides are attached tightly to your real hair by either glue or snaps glued to your real hair. You hair grows and the piece starts to loosen and it literally starts sliding further and further back on your head until you have it serviced your side hair shortened and the piece tightened again in 2 weeks or a month or whatever the frequency.

This is why his "shifting" hairline looks this way in this picture and some of the others.

Looks like that's exactly what's going on in this photo. A gust of wind exposed the seam in his hair system.
