Interesting fact I just read. South Africa doesn't have jury trials. Everything is decided by a Judge. One man decides the fate of Oscar.

Ok, as a South African, I am getting real tired real quick about peoples ignorant comments about leaving this to a Jury. This is South Africa we don't use a jury ever, so we never have a problem with tampering or intimidation. The only person who makes that desicion is a Judge. So the sooner you get jury out of your head the better. At least we know for sure there is no contamination of the jury because of the media so we don't really have an issue with trial by media. If the judge is found to do something untoward he faces disbarment. Secondly everything up to now is speculation the SAPS is making us look stupid too. At the end of the day someone has died and another has a very long life to live with the guilt of his actions. I would rather not be in the later shoes in all honesty.
