Not at all South. They tried to ingrain it in us from about Grade 4 on, which is where my basic comprehension of it comes from - but I quit it as soon as the option was available to me in Grade 10.

I have an issue with them, therefore refuse to learn their dirty language.

Nothing to explain. Much like 90% of the members of this board, I get along well with him. Have since SFN.

We developed a friendship off the boards as well. He's a good guy, and I consider him to be a personal friend.

Yes, Beeton has restaurants. You'd have to remove the word "nice" from "nice dinner for 2", though.

I could cook him a better meal.

Closest decent places to eat are about a half hour either south or north. I believe that we're going to do that regardless. I should still buy the boy something. He'll likely insist on paying for dinner.

I know he needs new work shoes (I bought him work boots for Christmas). Is this just WAY too "unromantic" though? Too practical?
