What are Your Favorite SNL Skits?

If you had the opportunity to burn a DVD of your favorite SNL skits from 1975 until today, what would you put on it?

I haven't been a big SNL fan since the end of the Eddie Murphy/Joe Piscopo era so my favorites are kind of dated and some of you may never have seen them. I'd put the following skits on.

    1) All episodes of "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood". Classics. I read somewhere that Fred Rogers once came to the SNL set and Eddie Murphy was afraid to meet him because he thought Mr. Rogers would be angry about the parodies. Gentleman that he was, Mr. Rogers shook Eddie's hand, told him he thought ths skits were great and that he was an admirer of Murphy's.

    2) The skits about The Assassination of Buckwheat, Buckwheat's Funeral and the Killing of Buckwheat's Murderer, John David Stutts (Joe Piscopo's impression of Ted Koppel was a riot).

    3) The skit of Good Morning America where Joe Piscopo plays David Hartman. Its short but hilarious - Joan Lunden is a mannequin and the "early film" of Hartman turns out to be a Bullwinkle cartoon. I still laugh about it today.

    4) Eddie Murphy's impersonation of James Brown, singing "Hot Tub".

    5) The Dan Aykroyd-Laraine Newman commercial for Super Bass-o-Matic '76.

    You?

I liked the one where Steve Martin was really old, like 67 or something, and decided to have a kid. Shit was hilarious!

Was Ebony and Ivory the one where Piscopo played Sinatra and Murphy played Stevie Wonder, and they sang "Ebony and Ivory" by Stevie Wonder and McCartney? That was a great one. Some of the lyrics went like this IIRC:

Wonder: I am black and you are white
Sinatra: You're blind as a bat, and I have sight.

Dan Ackroyd as Julia Child cutting her finger and bleeding to death,

The first "Matt Foley, Motivational Speaker" sketch (where David Spade & Christina Applegate struggle to not lose it)

    "Buckwheat Sings"

    "The Little Richard Simmons Show"

The Folger's Coffee Crystals parody--this one nearly killed me:

    "Jingleheimer Junction":
"(Beth Ostrosky's) head looks like a squeezed Barbie Doll head."--poster on another board
