O & A on the speech last night.

It is kind of funny that O&A get to play the Captain Janks prank call from yesterday before Howard does.

I thought the same thing. It was a funny call, and O&A spent the right amount of time on it, unlike HSS which will talk about it for 3 days. I haven't listened to HS regularly in months.

Norton is like anti-Bill Hicks or anti-Carlin. He does ZERO research on any political or social issue and just railroads his opinion through the barricade of common sense. He's even said on the show that Carlin and Hicks were overrated as comedians to which Opie, Anthony, and even Patrice O'Neal just stared blankly at him in disbelief. In Norton's mind he's smarter than Carlin.

If you want dick jokes and fart jokes then Norton's standup act is quite good. But he's no Hicks or Carlin or Patrice. Nor is he even as good with dick jokes like Kinison or Eddie Murphy were. He's great as a third microphone on O&A and his interviewing skills are top notch. But don't expect anything intelligence to come out of his mouth during a political topic.

Norton's views on gun control are mind numbingly stupid. Can't wait to listen to today's show.

Anthony's Dice impression is one the funniest things on the show. Colin Quinn says that it is his favorite impression of all time by anyone. Whenever Colin's on the show he always begs Anthony to unleash Dice.

You are 100% wrong about Nortons opinion of Carlin. He thinks Carlin and Pryor are the 2 greatest stand ups ever and constantly says so.

Norton is indeed good as the 3rd wheel, but anything more than Chip and his characters is too much. There's a reason he's had moderate success...

hell i just started listening and i know that much about norton he seems respectful to most comics...like when he was on the artie show...he came off really humble

I do acknowledge that arguing over who is a great commedian is similar to doing the same over bands, hot broads, movies, etc. It's all a matter of taste.
