You wouldn't rather it hit Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.? I mean, they already live like they're back in the stone age. Why not match their surroundings to their way of life?

Actually I don't believe this asteroid is enough to trigger anything that catastrophic......not that that is a consolation to whoever has it land on their head.

No, it's not. It would need to be something like a mile wide. This one's like half the diameter of a football field.

It would take out +/- 1000 square miles i guess.
