RIP & Tribute Thread: To Those We've Lost or Who Are Ill

Pay Tribute, post videos, pictures, give well wishes to those that are ill in your life or that we've lost in the Saloon

Just found out today a dear friend of almost 20 years has multiple myeloma

The 5-year relative survival rate for MM is around 35%. Survival is higher in younger people and lower in the elderly. Let's just say he's no spring chicken. But staying positive

Update on bone cancer (Multiple Myeloma)

Although dangerous the treatment decided was chemotherapy. This will be followed by stem cell replacement both treatments in conjunction with natural supplemental support

So far for overall health and immune support these include

    Vitamin, Minerals and trace elements
    Juicing (some fruits, mostly vegetables)
Low fat and/or healthy fats and proteins

Various herbs, spices and supplements with various functions some listed below

Turmeric/Curcumin - see herb post, alleged anti-cancer properties, very powerful anti-oxidant
Papaya Leaf extract - to naturally support reduced blood platelet counts from the chemo, alleged anti-cancer properties
Garlic - blood cleansing ability and red blood cell support and removal of toxins, anti-viral properties, alleged anti-cancer properties
Olive Leaf - immune support, anti-viral properties, alleged anti-cancer properties
    Cilantro - chelator of toxins
Spirulina - various including removal of toxins, vitamin and mineral support
Cracked cell wall chlorella - various including chelator of toxins, thryoid function, vitamin and mineral support
wheat grass - various including thryoid function, vitamin and mineral support

So far very minimal bone loss in one small area after round 1 of chemo. No sickness, good spirits and maintaining weight. Stem cell replacement therapy success for lengthening survival is reasonable high. As I recall about 67%. Bone loss can be among the most serious effects of the disease. Tumors form and also there is weakening and breakdown of the bones in the body. This can cause bones to break suddenly and without warning. Scary shit.

    F8ck cancer

Well wishes appreciated. Shout outs forwarded
