Here's the problem: It's one thing to just fuck a "portly pepperpot," but you had this rich, gorgeous doctor listening to her, wanting her to stay, etc. It's one thing to fuck her, it's another to find her interesting to talk to. I am a good looking ass man. I have banged up and down the scale. I love women large and small. I don't think Jodi Arias is disfigured because her labia is different. I don't think Lena Dunham is unattractive because her hips are big and her boobs are small.

You got it all wrong. Its often the opposite - a fat, loud and sassy bitch can be trying, because they often have a chip on their shoulder - they're already on the defensive and in the "I'll hurt/insult you first before you can do it to me" mode. In my experience, "hot chicks" are far more workable and manageable that a sassy big bitch, because theyve got hot-chick-disease - meaning they're exceedingly hard on themselves and often have low self esteem.

And I also gave this show a decent shot - watched the first season and first two eps of second season before I couldn't take it anymore. The novelty of the "edginess" and quirkiness factor has worn off and I've realized thats where most of the hype emanates from because its weak to nonexistent on substance beneath that.

If this were a show on the CW or some no-name it wouldn't have quite the reception -- she's skating on HBO creds to an extent and people like watching their sunday night paid cableTV. Ultimately its rudderless.

I will say she sounded pretty grounded and downright intelligent when she called in to Stern. I think her biggest problem is she believes intentionally writing a character thats unlikeable is somehow avant garde and edgy.

Not sure I agree,might be the case in the dating world,you are right some very attractive girls are low in confidence and some fat girls have a large chip on the shoulder , but the amount of times I know guys have been cheating on their wives and the 'girlfriend' isn't as hot as the wife you could put a decent size bet on it. The 'girlfriend' tends to be a plain looking needy type who will do things the wife would never dream of and more importantly pays attention to him and laughs at everything he says.
