I may be wrong but I think it will be Jewel. At least now, Howie and the AGT production staff doesn't have to bow down to the king anymore. He did not bring the audience that was expected. Howie should go there and be a big pain in the ass to Howard as a F U . Howard only had a two year contract. It is unlikely he will be asked back after this season so make him as miserable as possible while he is there.

Oh, you'd better believe he tried to get rid of Howie. Howie is the "fan favorite" and Howard wants it all about him. I don't watch the show, but I'm glad Howie's coming back. He's funnier and more quick-witted than Howard and will keep him on his toes. It sounds like he held out for something and got it.

I think they will go with a female musician with some name value to try to raise the ratings and go up against idol with Mariah Carey and x factor with whomever they get. Jewel is attractive articulate has an interesting background (struggling singer sleeping in car before she was discovered bblah blah blah). She seems to fit the mold. Howard mentioned before that the name Leann Rymes came up as an option. I don't think they will go for that females don't react well to her (with her cheating scandal). I mentioned in another thread that Howard seemed to be promoting Jewels appearance on his show a little too much. Just a hunch.
