    10k is nuts. With my "fun" car I change the oil every 2000 miles or less. But that's just me, and I like doing it.

    The new SN conventional oils are pretty damn good, The need for synthetic is minimal in real world applications. I do love to change oil, and it is a good thing because all my cars have huge sumps.
