I've been a Top Gear UK fan for 10 seasons.. the US version was fucking dreadful. Ya need guys with a sense of humor that also know about cars.. that's what makes the UK version so fun. (FYI Season 13 of the UK version began 3 weeks ago)

The US version is fucking horrendous. The hosts are all unfunny twats with zero personalities and the show is the typical "dumbed down" version for a broad US audience. I am not being snobby but everything done in the US show is a pale comparison to the UK show.

If that was in a hot desert the high temps could have been the problem, as copters need cooler dense air for maximum lift. Lose the transition effect and you drop.
