Are you running an HDMI cable from your device to your tv? When I first got my new tv, I fucked up and hooked up the XBox with the stupid red, yellow, white cables. What a difference those HDMI cables make!

yeah, i have a finished basement with a theater room and everything is pretty top of the line, in fairness to netflix i havent had the streaming service since the big price debacle so maybe it has gotten better, but i have a very big screen and when you stream stuff on a large screen it becomes pretty obvious

I guess higher quality would cause the stream speed to suffer?

I ran a physical LAN cable to the back of my XBox to prevent that.
no, not wifi. i have cable internet, satellite is a bit too expensive for my budget. I dont have an x box, dont play vid games that often so i still have my old ps 1 and an old ps2 lol.

i dunno if its just my comp or my browser or what but its harder to properly stream from nexflix than it used to be. Occasionally you might get a hiccup but now its more often than not it seems.

Bingo x1000. The day Netflix gets GOOD stuff on their streaming plan AND can stream a picture as good as my bluray, then I'll stream only..

I'm a sci-fi geek and they have all the star trek series available on streaming, as well as Battlestar Galactica, which I've watched in its entirety about 18 times.

I was always impressed with Netflix shipping but nothing compares to ordering wheels and tires from Tirerack on Wednesday at 6pm only to arrive home from work on Thursday at 3pm to find the wheels/tires mounted and balanced in front of my garage. I have no idea how that is even possible.

Netflix streaming selection and quality sucks. When/If they get that sorted ill sign up again......I'm too lazy to deal with DVDs anymore.

How's the new BSG series so far? I think only the pilot aired but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

I saw the webisodes. Sadly, I was not impressed. No real action, slow dialogue, unappealing characters, poor graphics (the quality of the webisodes sucked) and just...meh.

But that's just my opinion. I'd love for it to survive though, but so far? I'm not too confident in its survival.

    I'm confused by the OP.

He mailed it Monday and received the next disc on Tuesday?!?!?
