Went to YouTube and watched their videos. First song with kids on playground was very derivative, affecting some bluesy vocal sound or something, boring, doesn't rock or have nice melodies. Simplistic lyrics.
Second song, Gold on the Ceiling has more energy, but banal lyrics and uses distortion to hide very basic guitar play. Again, uses an old riff borrowed from elsewhere.
I give them credit for at least trying. But they're just mimicking others. A lot of acts today put on a fake affected voice instead of a natural singing voice. I don't blame them, I blame the people who seem to laugh at anything, love any movie, and listen to any music and think it rocks. Style has won out over substance. Perhaps you have to be older to realize it, but this has all been done before a hundred times. What you may think is new and fresh is a slightly altered copy of something that was recorded a generation ago many times. It might as well be a cover band.
Verdict: Don't listen, not a fan.
