It's now being reported that someone claiming to be him phoned the father of the murdered woman and taunted him that he didn't protect her well enough. This happened Thursday afternoon.

That mountain range is wall to wall cabins & public campsites... There's very little unused land there.. If he does get away, it'll be cause he headed North-East towards the vast desert there is between that mountain range & Las Vegas ....

They've had search parties & check-points covering all main roads in & out of there since then....And, he's too recognizable now to hitch a ride... Somebody will see him. You cant miss the guy...

Well, he could hang around in the truck for a while, keeping himself warm with the engine running. But if it got really cold, there's a good chance he froze to death.

Yes. I could see him laying low for a while and waiting until a bunch are concentrated in one area, and him taking all of them out.

I keep wondering about the truck. (He torched it BTW, Rench). He had to have a pretty damn good quantity of something flammable to burn it up the way it was; it was totally fried. Since he'd been driving around all day, he must have been low on gas? Could have gone to a pay-at-the-pump station, but surveillance cams would show that. If he did have gas, he would have had to syphon it out of the truck to douse the truck, or possibly puncture the gas tank. I question the veracity/accuracy of the broken axle story, too. I guess I'm just a wacko, but these things seem odd to me,

VERY interesting development. I wonder if this will set a (convenient) precedent that anyone who threatens da po-leese, will be classified as a "terrorist", and thus all kinds of crazy shit be happenin'.... Lot's of very peculiar things going on in this case.....
