I like Obama for a few different reasons. I do not understand his push for social health, it makes no sense, and I wish he knew how to play for with his foes. He obviously loves big government, and actually believes nobody did it themselves, it was all because of the help of the governement. He could represent the free world so much better if he dropped his silly socialist views, and learned to play with everybody a little better.

If you make money, you spend it. If you make MORE money, you spend MORE money and are taxed with a federal sales tax for that purchase. Where are these people getting the idea that it's somehow a tax break for the rich?

There would be no need to file forms every year. $$ saved. You could abolish most of the IRS. $$$ saved. You could abolish the jackbooted thugs that need no warrant to do whatever they please with automatic weapons. Whether it's the right house or not. $$ saved from lawsuits.

The reason it won't ever happen is it's too simple. The government doesn't like simple. Bureaucracy doesn't like simple.

actually in my opinion the reason it wont happen is because the two party system has no interest in a flat tax, the two party system would have to be broken for that to happen, and we are at least twenty years or more from that I'm guessing
